I am Philile Dlomo, a very enthusiastic, dependable, and reliable person with strong work ethic and determination to succeed.

I graduated at Durban University of Technology with a Diploma in Management Accounting in the year 2023. I also studied and obtained a certificate in Education and Development (NCV Level 4) at Coastal KZN TVET College in the year 2017 after matric completion in commercial studies at Esokheni High School during te year 2014. 

From the year 2018 to 2020 I worked at Pick n Pay under the so called agent Tailormade Solutions, worked as a Bakery Assistant where I assisted bakers and pastry chefs by serving consumers at counters where baked goods were sold. My duties were as follows: greeting, smiling, acknowledging, and welcoming clients to the bakery; Meet customers' needs and expectations by asking, listening to, and advising them as to options and products available; taking and fulfilling somsumers' orders; packaging and monitoring baked goods; promoting baked goods; as well as managing clients' complaints.

I have the following skills: Strong computer literacy; great customer Service Skills; team-oriented and strong collaboration skills; effective oral and written communication skills; critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills,; interpersonal effectiveness; as well as the ability to act with integrity, honesty, and consistency.

My Goal: I am a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, seeking a challenging position where I can fully utilize my skills and experience to make a significant contribution to the organization success. I am a very dedicated and compassionate person with strong strong academic background.

I am a newly qualified cost accountant who haven't been in any industry but wish to be in a certain industry or company showcasing my academic excellence to you in person. 

I can do the Following: control and coordinate the consolidated budget preparation; provide an effective and efficient financial management accounting support to aid senior management in the decision-making process; undertake cost analysis exercises as well as special projects and research into matters relating to scope, functions, and financial implications; preparation of management accounting reports for the respective Heads and Deputy Heads of the  various output units ; Assets management; and so on ( Budgeting, Accounting,Financial management, Costing, Financial reporting, Financial process management, planning an organizing, problem solving, etc).

Management Accountant OR Cost Accountant

A cost accountant is a financial specialist who determines the actual costs associated with providing a service or manufacturing a product. They accomplish this by scrutinizing all of the associated expenses within the supply chain. The purpose of cost accounting is for profitability analysis and budget preparation. The financial data supplied by cost accountants help executives identify which products, services, processes or departments are least and most profitable. 

Cost accountants are primarily responsible for collecting, validating and communicating data for the purposes of financial transparency and process improvements. They are responsible for the initiating the month-end closing and reporting processes, which they in turn submit to management. They set standard costs of business processes such as labor, shipping, production and administration.
