Performance Management System: Monitoring & Evalua

Assist in the development and review of the PMS Policy Framework

Assist in the development of Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan


Assist in alignment of departmental objectives as contained in the Integrated

Development Plan (IDP) with the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan


Provide support in ensuring alignment between the Budget, IDP and the SDBIP

Support on-going in-year monitoring and evaluation

Assist in development of quarterly performance reports 

Assist in development of Sec 72 Mid - Year Budget and Performance Report

Assist in development of Annual Performance Report

Assist in development of consolidated Annual Report

Analyzing performance reports and identifying gaps, before submitting to Internal

Audit (IA)

Development of Performance Agreements for Senior Managers

Coordinating PMS District Forum with relevant stakeholders within the District (Local

Municipalities, Provincial COGTA and SALGA)

Assist in providing support to Local Municipalities within the district, with regard to

Performance Management System 

Providing support to institutional PMS workshops for internal Departments 

Assist in preparation and consolidation of presentations for the MUNMEC

Assist in preparation and consolidation of presentations for Provincial Treasury

(Annual and Mid-Year) assessments for Municipalities 

Submission of performance reports and Portfolio of Evidences to Internal Audit for

Auditing purposes. 

Provide support in ensuring the Tabling of the PMS reports at the Audit Committee

and preparation of PMS presentations reports

Prepare monthly PMS Service Delivery Reports for submission to Mayoral


Collating and cording information for the performance assessments of senior


Ensuring that the Municipality complies with Performance Management System

related legislation, regulation and circulars. 

Collect data, consolidate and submit circular 88 compliance reports to Provincial


Assist with cascading of Performance Management System to lower levels
