About Nonyaniso Didiza:
I am a 40 year old with more that 15 years experience in administration. I obtained both my National Diploma as well as Baccalaureus Technoligiae (BTech) in Office Management and Technology between 2012 and 2019.
My work experience includes a high level of confidentiality while dealing with highly sensitive issues in the office of the Dean. I provide high level clerical and administrative support and I am currently responsible to send out correspondence, administrative reports, and other documents, managing the Dean’s calendar, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, confidentiality, and completeness; including making appropriate travel arrangements, minutes taking as well as arranging meeting where I will provide relevant packs for each meeting as per requirement.
I act as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders for the Faculty of Engineering, coordinating necessary resources, including screening mail, faxes, telephone calls and necessary resources. Ability to anticipate Dean’s needs and proactively bring together people and resources to support Dean in addressing issues. Use independent judgement to keep the Dean informed of all matters that require his/her attention, including timely reminders of university and other related deadlines. I conduct research at times, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents including research as directed for Faculty of Engineering accreditation. Organize and maintain an up to date filing system for all information related to administration, faculty, and staff, including documents, policies and other data pertinent to the smooth flow of work in the School of Medicine. My role sometimes includes serving as administrative support for staff recruitment efforts. I am responsible to compose correspondence; develop, review and edit presentations and documents; and/or complete materials needed for presentation and/or decision-making purposes.
