An Interior Architect with 23 years of International and Southern Africa experience within the hospitality and leisure development sector; working with multi-national teams on large luxurious resorts, mixed-use projects, and budget-friendly hotels which included multiple food & beverage outlets. He embodies a sound design, architectural & fine-art foundation, incorporating creative, inspired design contributions that work.

Seeking a Senior Interior Architect & Design role as Design Principle on selected hospitality & leisure development projects (large to medium scale, exclusive or commercial, new build or refurbishment projects) in a contract or freelance capacity, bringing his experience & creativity in supporting the company’s goals & mission to achieve a highly successful outcome that is not only beautiful but highly profitable.

• Company Owner, responsible for turn-key business operational requirements and offering full & comprehensive design service from concept architecture, interior design, detailing & specifying documentation to installation, site supervision & handover.
• Effective budget management for design projects, report and keep on top of cost estimates for regular feedback to client.
• Liaise with other Project Consultants, including contractors, sub-contractors, and specialist trades.
• Produce full documentation package including FF&E specifications and finishes schedules and oversee sub-contractors' shop drawings.
• Manage and participate in internal and client meetings to provide feedback to the team.
• Assisted in developing & constructing 2 new international hotel brands that now have 5 new hotels as part of their portfolio.
• Managed up to 3 hotel projects at one time each with 4 to 8 internal
  specialized design personnel/team.
• Collaborated directly with Client, Developer, and Operator.
• Initiated & overseen the entire development process from concept to handover.
• Designed over 15 hotel projects worldwide, some with budgets of over $60
  Million.
