About Nomzamo Yuku:

After eight years of working as a Journalist (freelancing and fulltime), I want to explore other opportunities for me to grow professionally and personally. I am target driven and good with handling customers, addressing complaints and retaining relationships. I can help with both business to business marketing and business to company marketing concept. I have recently developed interest to apply my customer services skills hence I studied Business Communication and Customer Relationship Management programmes at Unisa.  I am currently looking for an opportunity to contribute my knowledge. I am a creative, well organised fast learner who easily adapt to and embrace change. I can work well individually and or, be a good team player, prioritising quality end product.

Experience

I am good with handling customers, addressing complaints and take note of constructive criticism. I am good at building and retaining relationships with clients. I can help with both business to business marketing and business to company marketing concept using my professional writing ability. My people's skills excel either on in person or virtually maintaining the company's image. I can work independently prioritising my own quality end results, and also be a good team player. I am looking at taking this as a new adventure and career growth outside my comfort zone as a multimedia journalist.

My experience in Journalism field taught me to have a sharp eye for details, good communication skill, to work in a fast-paced environment and be the face of the company.

As I was focusing on shaping my career, I developed a passion for not just meeting people, but working at a customer centric environment, building business relations and grow within a like minded organisation.

Education

My experience is complementary to my National Diploma in Journalism obtained from Nelson Mandela University in 2013 and the recently completed course in Customer Relationship Management and a programme in Business Communication (at Unisa).
