I’m an accountant with 8 years of experience, currently working in an International agricultural commodities trading house. Ranging from month close processes to Budgeting tasks. 

Eager for new opportunities and desire to thrive in team based roles and eager to grow and advance my skill sets in a new environment. 

• Partnering the Financial Controller (Direct Line manager) for new and Adhoc business requests 
• 2IC for the financial reporting team 
• Monthly variance /overheads Analysis and identifying anomalies in the accounts
• End to end month close processes on SAP (journals, upload of reports and review)
• Authorised signatory for the release of payments 
• Preparation & uploading of the Yearly Budget files including the liaising with related departments and coordinating with management to collate budget at a company level.
• Daily and Month end accounts: accruals, prepayments, balancesheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, account review, credit card transactions, journal posting
• Preparation and finalization of Trial Balances
• Preparation of monthly,quarterly, and annual statistical return submission
• Assists with reviewing expenses,payroll records etc. as assigned
• Assists senior accountant in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
• Update financial data in system to ensurethat information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Coordinating external audit with externalauditors 
• Assists with SARB reporting requirements and compliance 
• Provides financial statusinformation by preparing special reports / Adhoc reporting as requested by Finance Manager. E.g., Statistical return submission
• Quarterly reporting pack of balance sheet and income statements to related schedules. Report is used for consolidation purposes for shareholders in Singapore
• Build and maintain supportive orientated relationships with product teams, to ensure queries and concerns are addressed and resolved amicably.
• Collaborated in collating and delivering reports for data analysis as well as Providing support to ensure that all reporting is accurate.
• Responsible for the Rice reporting to the Singapore BU – including weekly GC contribution, monthly reporting packs and currency exposure 
• SAP experience
