About Nicholas Skosana:

I am writing this latter after seeing the position for sales manager, seeking job opportunities within your organization. Based on more than twelve years' experience in Sales, operations, retail and managing staff and managing international brands, I believe that I have the necessary skill and qualification to fulfil any role within the above mentioned.

 

Moreover, to my responsibilities is to develop relationships with our retailer partners(suppliers). Identify opportunities to grow the business and understand the challenges facing our retailer partners. Communicate to the sales team and our retailer partners all promotions, new launches, any event and all strategies by marketing team. Further to ensure strategies and plans by marketing is implemented correctly, communicate to sales team and our retailer partners the budget timeously. Develop and maintain good relationships with retailer partners, develop winning strategies in growing and improving our brands visibility. Manage sales and stock level to ensure there is a correlation between sell in and sell out (OOS and SOH balance) since sell out drives sell in (the opposite is true) , also to ensure there is adequate stock. Represents our brands and make sure the sales team and our retailer partners are kept informed on any new launches, changes in layout, promotions. I am also obliged to lead and guide the team on any unforeseen event either positive or negative and grow/learn the habit of forward thinking. Further to ensure sales team is keeping our brand meticulously and visible as per the brands guideline.

 

I have experience in the execution of the commercial business strategy both at Regional, operations and Store level as well as taking responsibility for the overall sell-out and sell-in performance of my brands, ensuring profitability and financial growth. 

 

I hold the following qualifications: a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, Diploma in Tourism, Retail Leadership Development Programme, Galiloe Computer reservation certificate, Grade 12 certificate. This gives me a great grounding in the skill needed for any management and operations role,

Experience

My responsibility is to build, maintained good relationship with our retailer partners, I am also task to bring more businesses for the business in a form of independent customers and identifying opportunities to bring more revenue and save money for the company in a form of minimizing RTVs (return to vendor) unless necessary or given a go ahead by my line manager however, I had a authority to take any decision. Some of the brands I look after is Versace, Givenchy, Paco Rabanne, Antonio Banderas, Ferragamo, Kenzo, Carolina Herrera and many more. We supply Edgars, Foschini, Truworths, Dis-Chem, Clicks, Woolworths and few independent stores.
