I am an Environmental and Water Scientist with a passion for environmental sustainability and resource management. Throughout my professional journey, I have been dedicated to making a positive impact in the field of environmental consulting and engineering.

Currently, I am serving as a Lead Research Consultant at MM Emporium Environmental Consulting and Engineers, where I am actively involved in a significant project called "The design & Implementation of an Expanded Industrial Symbiosis Initiative (ISI) in Region B." This initiative focuses on fostering sustainable collaborations between companies in the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, and Mpumalanga regions to promote waste swapping and optimize resource utilization.

Prior to my current role, I honed my skills as an Environmental Management Intern at Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency, where I engaged in various responsibilities, including conducting inspections, issuing permits, and contributing to biodiversity conservation efforts. Moreover, I gained invaluable leadership experience as a Team Leader at All Eksess, working with Glencor Coal Operations for an Alien eradication project ,ensuring safety compliance while maximizing equipment productivity.

Additionally, my passion for water resource management and environmental science led me to complete a PGdip in Integrated Water Resources Management and a BSc in Environmental and Water Science at the esteemed University of the Western Cape. These educational pursuits equipped me with knowledge in water law, geospatial technologies, biodiversity conservation, and other crucial aspects of environmental management.

In my journey towards personal and professional growth, I have also acquired practical skills, such as handling explosives, water parameter testing, and proficiency in various technical tools like ArcGIS and Google Earth Engine.

I am committed to excellence in my work and have demonstrated proficiency in report writing, enabling me to communicate complex environmental concepts effectively.

As a member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP), I continually strive to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in my practice.

With a deep-rooted passion for environmental conservation and a strong foundation in water resource management, I am dedicated to contributing positively to society and the environment through my expertise.
