About Fikelephi Masondo :
My name is Fikelephi Masondo, South African female. I have worked at Mpumamanzi Group, a SANAS (South African National Accreditation System) accredited laboratory. Through the experience I have been exposed to ISO 17025 (laboratory management system), ISO 9001 Quality management system, SANS 241 (National water standard).I also did 17 months
As a Quality Controller while at Daybreak Farms.
Furthermore I am involved in analysis of water via three methods, i.e. Plate Count (HPC); Enumeration and Detection of E.coli and total coliforms; detection and Enumeration of Somatic Coliphages as well as Swab methods.
I have obtained my B.Sc. Biochemistry and Microbiology. I also did a Good laboratory practice course through my training, and attended an ISO 17025 course as well, which added value to my experience. I am now a senior Analyst and I have recently received managerial recommendation to be the Microbiology Technical Signatory of Mpumamanzi Laboratory within 3-4 years of experience with accredited laboratory.
I can cope well under pressure and able to interact with people of diverse characters. I pride myself in working with procedures and regulations so as to avoid any miss understandings and I have good problem solving and critical thinking skills, but most importantly to abide by set standards and take responsibility. I am able to professionally handle different situations and can cope very well with team work. I am a self-driven individual, and I also never limit my learning ability, I pay attention to details and has ability to adhere to standard procedures. It would be a great honour and privilege to be given a chance to bring positive change and service in the organisation.
