I am mechanical fitter I have completed N2-N5 mechanical engineering together with relevant trade test. I am more passionate about engineering and earger to learn more.

 I'm currently working for isanti glass previously called Nampak glass as maintenance fitter where I maintain machinery and equipment safely as per required standards in order to minimize brakedowns and long machine downtime and maintaining 98℅ machine availability  without compromising quality and safety standards. 

On day to day allocation I make sure that inspections are being done safely and logged on JDE previously we used Pragma Onkey. 

I make sure that section preventative maintenance is done and machines are clean and more safely to work on.make sure that breakdowns are being executed properly and safely and do the root cause analysis (5Why), we are even on 5s where we improve day to day housekeeping and improving our safety standards.

I have joined Nampak/Isanti glass 2015 where i started with my apprentice as a fitter and i was trained at SAJ training institute till i obtained my trade test and hired as maintenance fitter, where we maintain machinery and equipment safely without compromising safety and quality standards. We are using JDE and previously used Pragma to record all day to day duties and under Isanti system we are using SIO's (Safety Incidents Observation) which helps us to improve our safety standards.

I have Matric ,N2 to N5 mechanical engineering N6 still in progress and trade test as a fitter.
