Mayibongwe Zungu

I'm an entry-level customer service and hospitality professional with a year's experience in the industry which is backed by a Diploma in Tourism Management completed at the Durban University of Technology. My goal is to develop strong networks within the industry by showcasing my knowledge and expertise as a young individual who brings a fresh and new way of thinking which will benefit my potential employer.

I've worked in customer services roles in the hospitality industry and I have also worked in housekeeping as well. I've developed excellent communication and problem -solving skills and I am very excited to bring these skills to a new role in a different company and even a completely different industry if the opportunity presents itself.  Since I have worked at a nature reserve (Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve owned by Ezemvelo) and a hotel (The Blue Marlin Hotel) I have learned how to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life and this has helped me build relationships with customers and colleagues and I am excited to continue this approach in a new role.

I matriculated in 2019 at Port Shepstone High School with a bachelor pass and in 2023 I completed my diploma in Tourism at the Durban University of Technology.
