I am a challenge-driven and accomplished professional with a background in international content services, academic administration, and teaching. As a Production Coordinator at Pixelogic Media, I managed dubbing script and subtitle template deliveries across APAC, EMEA and the Americas. I excelled in stakeholder management, communication, team coordination, and handling tight deadlines. Additionally, I have extensive experience in academic literacy support, working as a tutor and instructor at Stellenbosch University, teaching English as a Foreign Language in Japan and academic literacy at The University of Hong Kong. Critical career highlights include: 

Coordinator - Pixelogic Media

• Led a substantial team of 40 - 50 Editors, overseeing the simultaneous production of 10 - 20 titles achieved with the collaboration of 4 - 7 external Project Managers and three internal Supervisors.

• Acted as a pivotal link between four language teams across diverse time zones, from APAC to the Americas. 

• Ensured the timely delivery of high-quality subtitles for VIP entertainment media products, including last-minute edits for international film festivals with 6 - 12 hours turnaround times. 

Communication Advisor: Communication Support Services - The University of Hong Kong 

• Taught and facilitated six semester-length workshops on academic literacy and presentation skills.

• Collaborated with five Communication Advisors and two Student Peer Consultants to produce two promotional videos and biweekly text promotional material for the communications unit. 

Teacher - Japan 

• Invited to teach exclusive intercultural communication training sessions to 40 second-year Communications students.

• Collaborated with 17 teachers in teaching over 500 students from ages 7 to 15 across five schools.

• Re-contracted to a maximum of five years.

• Conducted weekly English conversation classes with 7 - 15 adult students at a Community Centre.

 Academia - Stellenbosch University 

• Coordinated and taught tutorials for 50+ students.

• Took on a greater administrative and coordination role for the whole unit during budget cuts and when the BA Extended Degree Programme (EDP) Coordinator was on doctoral study leave.

• Built quality relationships with lecturers to ensure all tutorial planning and materials development ran smoothly.
