I am writing to you with interest in the advertised position at your establishment. I have recently completed my BCOM(logistics and transport economics) majoring in logistics, procurement, supply chain management and economics at Nelson Mandela University.
While within my career path I’ve developed the strong skills and capabilities of leadership, communication, computer literacy and problem solving among many. I possess a knowledge network level 2 certificate, I have completed a computer fundamentals course and i took computer applications technology in high-school so I am highly computer literate and highly proficient In all Microsoft programs. I also have a drivers licence.
I started off my career as an Assistant Logistics Administrator where I checked orders, followed up with suppliers prepped customer information for manual order sends, escalated customer queries, arranged returns and submitted incident returns at Kwamnandi eKhaya PTY LTD. I prepared quotes and order confirmation with clients. Maintained customer and supplier information. I also did admin work like document filing and other secretarial tasks.
I then moved on to Valeo Systems SA where I am now an intern to the Logistics PTM where I issue releases, do the bill of entries, process purchase orders and Liaise with courier companies, track vessels, trucks and airfreight orders. I ensure the execution and dispatch of orders on time and that we receive stock in time.
