About Letlotlo Matseke:
I am a recent Economics Honours graduate with a strong academic foundation in economic analysis, quantitative methods, and financial economics. My training has equipped me to analyse data, interpret economic and financial trends, and support evidence-based decision-making in professional environments.
I have a particular interest in finance, investment analysis, risk assessment, and policy-oriented economic research. I am detail-oriented, analytically rigorous, and comfortable working with data, reports, and models to derive meaningful insights.
I am seeking entry-level or graduate opportunities where I can apply my analytical skills, continue developing professionally, and add value within a finance, economics, consulting, or corporate environment.
Experience
I have gained relevant professional experience as a Student Assistant, serving as both an invigilator and a marker within an academic environment. In these roles, I was responsible for invigilating examinations to ensure academic integrity, compliance with institutional procedures, and a controlled testing environment.
As a marker, I assessed and graded student assignments and examinations in accordance with marking guidelines, provided constructive academic feedback, and handled sensitive information with confidentiality and accuracy. These responsibilities strengthened my attention to detail, analytical judgment, time management, and ability to work within strict deadlines.
In addition, my academic projects and research experience have involved analysing economic and financial data, preparing structured reports, and collaborating effectively with academic and administrative stakeholders. Collectively, these experiences have prepared me well for entry-level and graduate roles requiring analytical rigour, professionalism, accountability and integrity.
Education
I hold an Economics Honours degree, with advanced coursework in economic theory, econometrics, financial economics, and applied economic analysis. My studies emphasised quantitative analysis, research methodology, data interpretation, and critical evaluation of economic and financial issues.
Through my Honours research and coursework, I developed strong skills in statistical analysis, academic writing, and evidence-based problem solving, providing a solid foundation for analytical and finance-oriented professional roles.
