I hold a BSc Honors in Industrial Engineering, a Maintenance Engineering Certificate of Competence, a Reliability Engineering Certificate of Competence and am a Junior Systems and Industrial Engineer with over a year of working experience. I have keen interest in machine learning, and completed my final year project in natural language processing, and supervised regression models. I am currently enrolled for a competency certificate in Machine Learning for Engineers with the University of the Witwatersrand, and would like to grow, and develop a career in machine learning projects and modeling.

I hold a BSc Honors in Industrial Engineering, a Maintenance Engineering Certificate of Competence, a Reliability Engineering Certificate of Competence and am a Junior Systems and Industrial Engineer with over a year of working experience. In my current position, I work as a Central Business Improvement supporting consultant for the mine’s Operations Departments where inefficient operations, systems, and processes are analyzed with the aim of identifying constraints, and areas of improvements. I have experience with lean six sigma and project management frameworks for analysis and improvement of business processes and systems respectively in accordance with best practices and management strategies. I am well versed with reliability and maintenance engineering principles such as determining and identifying failure dependencies in equipment using (FMCEA), while ensuring an effective data collection system and assessing reliability of series and parallel based systems.

I hold a BSc Honors in Industrial Engineering degree with the University of the Witwatersrand, NQF level 9 Competency Certificates in Reliability Engineering, and Maintenance Engineering, and am currently enrolled for a NQF level 9 Competency Certificate for Machine Learning for Engineers.
