Letlhogonolo Tlhogi Matshego

I am Letlhogonolo ‘Tlhogi’ Matshego, a filmmaker in every respect of the word.  I’m a young man fascinated with the art of storytelling and the many forms it takes. The desire to create captivating stories and cultivate meaningful relationships with virtuosos known and unknown drives my every move; relationships that are built on trust, honesty, empathy, and respect for all individuals. I believe stories have the ability to change people’s lives. My goal is to touch people’s souls through their eyes with the aid of my unique perspective on life and make them want to share about what they just experienced, shaking their perception of the world around them and tuning them into a new channel.

Worked as part of the unit team (assistants to department heads) in a number of films for Bomb and Mzansi Magic. Worked as a casual worker, i.e. waiter at Orion Lodge. Worked as a casual worker at Avis the Uniform shop. Worked as a sales person at Bham's Stationers. 

Matriculated in 2017 at Grenville High School with subjects: Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science, Geography, English, Afrikaans, Life Orientation. 

 Started my tertiary studies in 2018 and completed my tertiary studies 2022 in the qualification of Bachelor of Arts in Motion Picture Medium (undergraduate). Disciplines/modules: Screen Acting, Stage Acting, Cinematography, Data Grading, Screenwriting and Directing.
