I am an accomplished professional with an impressive 8-year career journey. Over the past 5 years, I have specialized in internal auditing, encompassing information systems auditing and data analytics, complemented by a solid 3-year foundation in finance. Additionally, I contributed to the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) department during a brief assignment.

My career initiation was as an Internal Audit Intern at Peninsula Beverages Parow, where I actively participated in internal audits, streamlined records through digitalization, and played a pivotal role in credit control and creditor responsibilities. My foray into finance saw me excel as a Credit Controller and subsequently as a Creditors Clerk at Imperial Logistics Paarl. In these roles, I adeptly managed accounts, reconciled supplier accounts, orchestrated invoice processing, and maintained meticulous financial records. Simultaneously, I briefly lent my expertise to the SHEQ department.

Transitioning into internal auditing, I undertook the role of an Internal Audit Intern at KWV Paarl. Here, I meticulously planned audits, conducted risk-based reviews, and skillfully drafted comprehensive reports. As an Internal Audit Clerk at Kaap Agri Malmesbury, I continued to advance my audit acumen, fostering constructive communication with management, and overseeing stock counts. My next destination was CPOA Newlands, where I assumed the role of an Internal Auditor, delving into process audits, risk assessments, and diligent follow-ups.

Currently, I am a vital contributor at BDO Cape Town, spearheading audit engagements, orchestrating data analytics initiatives, and specializing in information systems auditing within the esteemed IT Centre of Excellence. My diverse experience underscores my adaptability and readiness for new and challenging opportunities.
