Good day, 

I am a builder - that person that gets things done! 

 

I know how to multi – task and work diligently - I remained successfully self-employed for three years due to complete self-motivation and self- discipline. The reason I returned to formal employment was that LSC Imperial bought my client and offered me a position to join them as the business unit’s manager.

 

My value system aligns to that of any company and includes:

Trustworthiness and Integrity, Boldness, Ownership. Excellence, Resilience and Attention to detail. My Optimistic an mature professional character and performance makes for Teamwork to create Dreamwork.

I possess the "ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while managing many tasks at once, work against short deadlines and remain calm and focused” AND “ability to ensure that the standards, disciplines and procedures of a company are strictly maintained”
Being an extremely versatile individual I can perform varied functions, ranging from customer relationship building to compiling Management statements and processing on cloud based accounting systems and preperation of a budget and forecast.

 

I provided total reliability, professional and personalized bookkeeping services to simplify the running of my client’s business ( through the highest level of client and business confidentiality at all times) while:
1) conducting reviews and evaluation for cost-reduction opportunities,
2) managing the company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems to specific deadlines, 
3) keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation,
4) making recommendations for changes to procedures, processes, budgets etc.


Currently my portfolio includes (but is not limited to), the following: 

  • Bookkeeping to Trial Balance. 
  • Management of Debtors and Creditors. 
  • Customized Monthly Management reports.
  • Processing with user rights on Sage Business Pastel Accounting and Pastel Payroll (Cloud based), Quickbooks and Xero Accounting 
  • Completion and submissions of SARS Statutory returns, CIPC registrations and /or submissions and Document storage with Receipt Banking (Cloud based)
  • Completion and submissions of Compensation Fund return
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Monthly Management reporting (on Hyperion) 
  • Communication with external auditors 
  • Payroll function

 

I successfully negotiated the migration from Pastel to Sage Business accounting package. 

Thereafter I fulfilled a hands-on role in training and educating junior staff (4) to work with this new Cloud based accounting programme. I managed this team remotely for three years.

I assisted my directors to keep focused on their business and provided a more refined and professional look and feel to their management reports with Intelligence reporting on Sage Business.

I meet the Four E’s requirement: Ethics, Education, Experience and Examination for professional membership and technical accountant with the ICBA (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and Accountants).

I also qualify for registration with SAIPA.
