About Laila Sheik:

My name is Laila Sheik. I am from South Africa, seeking a college position to teach English. I am a native English speaker with a masters degree. I enjoy teaching and I am passion about helping people.  

Experience

I have 6 years of teaching university students, who were majority second language speakers.  I have taught English studies and media studies and I am well equipped to help students regarding their learning needs. I have taught for 2 years online during the  Covid- 19 pandemic

I have a bachelors degree in English Studies and relevant experience.  I have graduated in May 2022 with my masters degree and plan on furthering my studies to do my PhD.
