I am a dedicated and skilled medical technologist/technician with many years of experience in the laboratory. I am flexible and a quick learner who adapts to new situations and enjoys a challenge. Able to work on my own or in support of other health care professionals. I am keen to progress my career and will be committed to the welfare of the practice. I am an excellent communicator-able to quickly gain the trust and confidence of my colleagues. I am a committed team player and able to work productively with others toward a common goal.
I enjoy a challenge and have an analytical mind to resolve many a problem, with attention to detail. I am the ‘go to’ person for people with ‘how to’ or ‘I can’t get it to work’ issues.

I have many years experience in various fields of the laboratory. I can follow or lead as I have worked in different divisions and countries to further my career. I started my career in the Cytogenetics world and later progress to Clinical Pathology. I have worked abroad and never shy away from a challenge. I am a reliable and hard worker who always take on other responsibilities like stock control, health and safety or Qc officer.

Even thou I qualified the first time in 1983 I studied again and received my latest qualification in 2014. Every day is a learning curve as technology changes and we have to adapt to deliver the best possible service to clients.
