I am a data analyst and a registered dietitian with over 10 years of experience in both public and private healthcare settings. Recently, I completed a higher education certificate in Information Technology: Data Science at Explore AI Academy and successfully concluded a three-month Data Scientist internship. My passion lies at the intersection of health and technology, and I am eager to take my data analyst skills to a PhD level. My upcoming doctoral research will focus on utilising linear programming to obtain optimised solutions for children's diets in South Africa. With a strong background in healthcare and data analysis, I am confident that I can contribute significantly to improving nutrition and health outcomes. I possess a diverse set of analytical and technological skills, including proficiency in Python programming language, MySQL, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. I am also experienced in Comet, Streamlit, and GitHub. In addition to technical expertise, I have developed strong leadership, project management, and time management skills throughout my career. I have extensive experience of more than 10 years as a consultant and clinical dietitian in both private and public sector. I am currently a Locum at a private practice in Centurion, however I would like to pursue my career in data analysis and researcher.
