Technical Assessor for SANAS to assess according to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1 and ISO/IEC 17065. 

•2020 (January to present) 

Employed by Safari Energy Management, our family business established by my father. Safari Energy Management operates in the field of utility meter readings and processing in line with Eskom and Municipal rates. 

•2020 (January to present) 

Employed on a part time basis as lead auditor for African Certification and Testing (Pty) Ltd. This includes the duties of product auditing and Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) auditing. 

•2018 (January) to 2019 (December) 

Promoted to a Director of African Certification and Testing (Pty) Ltd. I was deemed competent as a Quality Management System (ISO 9001) lead auditor and part of the team that achieved SANAS Accreditation on ISO/IEC 17021 system for Quality Management System certification. 

In 2019 we extended our scope of accreditation on our ISO/IEC 17065 system to include South African National Standards (SANS) SANS 1783 and SANS 10089. 

The responsibilities of establishing, maintaining, and controlling ACT’s Management System continued to form part of my roles and responsibilities. 

•2017 (January) to 2019 (December) 

Employed by African Certification and Testing (Pty) Ltd (ACT) as Quality Manager and nominated representative with regards to SANAS. I was deemed competent as a product auditor from September 2017 to present and part of the team that achieved SANAS Accreditation on ISO/IEC 17065 system for product certification with the scope of accreditation: South African National Standards (SANS) SANS 754, SANS 457-3 and SANS 1288. My responsibilities included the establishing, maintaining, and controlling of ACT’s Quality Management System.

Attended an SANAS Technical Assessor Course and passed the written examination and continuous assessment necessary for the successful completion.

Attended an ISO 9001: 2015 Lead Auditor Training Course and passed the written examination and continuous assessment necessary for the successful completion (Certificate Number: 197617).
