Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Loading of products into 40 foot and 20-foot containers

per instructed loading regulations.

  • Relabeling products with new ingredients or promo labels
  • Repackaging of promo and damaged stock

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Planning loads for the day and week.
  • Trained on warehousing system Mozaic and worked on Microsoft excel and outlook daily.
  • Dealing with 3rd party customers regarding stock stored in their accounts. Planning loading schedule and incoming for the week and advising supervisors and managers of movement planned for the week.
  • Booking in all drivers for incoming and outbound. Role was also like that of front desk reception also as all communication went through me and then I would communicate the information to the respective departments and managers.
  • Sorting customer queries, stock shortages, stock on hand reports, bonded cargo, XRB/XRW releases, state vet releases, damaged stock.
  • Stock take facilitating, assisting with stock counts in the freezers, reconciling of stock, improving losses or reporting on huge losses.
  • Working with traders in our Johannesburg offices to plan their loads for the week and dealing with transport controllers regarding truck arrival times.
  • Worked with Export of various products and also provided details of VGM for pre-advising of cargo, ensuring cargo meets the required stack dates.
  • Gathering all cargo documents received from container including: packing list and SARS documents if stock is Bonded, ensuring quantities received vs actual quantity are correct, recording of vessel, container number, quantity received and state vet release dates planned.
  • Printing of routes for local deliveries and ensuring all quantities are as according to customers requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervising and training security guards and drivers on scanning system of vehicles entering and exiting site and on Zeno scheduler system (Plato).
  • Tracking trucks in yard following up on loading/offloading to improve sites overall TAT.
  • In charger of device usage by security and drivers.
