Jason Hopgood

I am a lifelong learner that is always willing to go the extra mile. Learning new skills and being willing to get hands-on to understand the task better. Working hard is key, however, improving systems and making things easier for all is important. 

Educating people and helping them grow is something I enjoy as I always want a person to be the best them they can be. Having the ability to be patient and listen to others is key to making someone feel valued. People that feel valued will go the extra mile. 

Working under pressure is something I do well as you have to adopt and adapt to what is happening. Having worked in a field I am in things change constantly and its being able to get the end target completed with fewest delays. 

I started off as a teacher working for the Western Cape Education Department, I loved this, however, needed more of a challenge. 

I studied part-time in health and safety and started as a consultant in multiple industries. Covering implementation, facilitating, and providing training. 

I continued to study and upskill myself while working and going into different industries. A client of mine while consulting offered me a position that I knew would be a challenge but took it on and have been exposed to hard times but always overcome them.
