My objective is to obtain a position in the biotechnology industry utilising my skills and knowledge to drive innovation and growth in the field. I aim to leverage my expertise to contribute to the development and improvement of progressive biotechnological solutions.

Weekly tutoring of 2nd year genetics students at Stellenbosch University.

Other work experience includes holiday jobs such as bartending (2022) and assisting with graphic design work for 3SmartKids Design (2021).

Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Plant Biotechnology

Honours Research Thesis:

Improvement of sugarcane drought tolerance through genetic manipulation and cloning techniques. Focused on the development of novel sugarcane cultivars in order to improve crop quality and yield under drought conditions in South Africa. Gained experience in biotechnology applications and data analysis to support product development. Communicated and presented findings to a board of doctors and lecturers.
