Johannes Jacobus Burger is a seasoned IT operations leader with over a decade of experience managing enterprise support environments. He currently serves as Deputy IT Manager at WNS Global Services, where he oversees IT operations, leads a team of support technicians, and ensures compliance with security and audit standards. He plays a key role in infrastructure planning, SLA performance reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Prior to this, Johannes was Store Support Manager at PepkorIT, where he managed Tier 1 and 2 support across a national retail footprint. His responsibilities included IT asset lifecycle management, vendor coordination, cost control, and leading major IT projects such as telephony rollouts and service desk system upgrades. His career reflects a strong blend of technical oversight, operational efficiency, and strategic collaboration with senior leadership and vendors.

Johannes Jacobus Burger holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of South Africa (UNISA), completed in 2016. His academic focus included Visual Programming, Database Design, Object-Oriented Analysis, and Strategic Planning, laying a strong foundation for both technical and systems development roles.

He also earned a Higher Certificate in Accounting Science from UNISA in 2020, broadening his understanding of financial principles relevant to IT budgeting and asset management.

In addition to his formal education, Johannes is certified in PRINCE2® Foundation Project Management and ITIL v4, demonstrating his competence in structured project delivery and IT service management. He also holds legacy Microsoft certifications, including MCSE, MCDBA, and MCP, underscoring his long-standing technical proficiency in systems and database administration.
