I am an experienced and results-driven Manager with a strong background in meat processing,staff supervision, stock control, and customer service. I have hands-on expertise in all aspects of a butchery, including meat cutting, portion control, merchandising, hygiene compliance and waste reduction.

I am skilled in managing and training staff, ensuring high productivity while maintaining strict food safety and health standards. I take pride in delivering high-quality products, excellent customer satisfaction, and efficient daily operation. I am detail-oriented ,reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast paced retail environment.

Experience

  • Supervision of the operations of the Butchery department according to agreed sales and profitability targets
  • Stock control and set stock levels per product category
  • Implement production chain systems of all stock to optimize shelf life
  • Ensure consistent quality in freshness and presentation
  • Set expiry dates and ensure stock rotation
  • Design in house Butchery promotions and ensure product are in stock for full promotional period
  • Develop new value-added lines for the Butchery
  • Manage stock levels and ensure correct ordering in line with expenses and Customer requirement
  • Conduct price surveys and ensure prices are competitive
  • System updated and maintained
  • All Equipment maintained to manufacturers recommendations and in full working order
  • All facilities and backups well maintained
  • Ensure Food safety and Health and safety compliance
  • Management of team and ensure all Employees are trained to carry out their responsibilities effectively
  • Manage Employees in line with Legislation, Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure schedules are set within Budget
