About Christine du Preez:

I have been an Executive PA, Office, Sales & HR Manager for a large part of my working career for both a listed corporate company in the engineering sector and a small/medium size business in the energy sector.  As an Executive PA/Office Manager, I worked closely with CEO, CFO, non-executive board members, directors, and various management members. Over the last 20 years, I have been immensely involved with the day-to-day operations of businesses and secured valuable insights.  My responsibilities, knowledge, and experiences included inter alia:-

  • Executive PA: Full C-Suite Executive PA role profile to the CEO and CFO; travel arrangements both local and international; travel with the CFO to both local and African-based operations; coordinate various events; assist the CFO to review the monthly financial results; prepare the monthly financial management packs; minute taking.
  • Regulatory Legal Compliance: Listing regulatory compliance; draft and review resolutions, SENS announcements, press releases and minutes from meetings; assisting to draft and edit the Integrated Annual Report; legal exposure to the drafting/reviewing of corporate contracts and attending meetings with legal counsel; collation of documentation and the preparation of EXCO, quarterly and/or annual board, audit, and other committee meeting information packs; mergers & acquisitions; and restructuring of businesses.
  • Administration: Expense reconciliation of directors’ expenses; review monthly expenses of all companies within the group; manage the group’s insurance profile; manage/monitor fleet profile and maintenance; collection of high profile debtors; invoicing; procurement of office supplies and various product stock. 
  • Human Resources: Full HR/IR role profile for both local and African-based operations; recruitment; appointments; training; policy implementation; disciplinary hearings; CCMA representation; interactions with various bargaining councils and trade unions,
  • Sales & Marketing: Business development; customer relationship management; internal and external sales.

I am a confident, well-experienced ambitious Executive Assistant, Office/HR Manager and possess vast experience in inter alia business restructuring, administration, human resources, corporate regulatory compliance, legal framework, customer relationship management, logistics, sales & marketing, debtor’s collections, invoicing, and insurance with a demonstrated work history in the corporate engineering sector, energy industry, and telecommunications.
