For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawing and creating art, sometimes obsessively to my own detriment. I possess a deep desire to craft and express myself creatively, both visually and musically.

Beyond my work as an illustrator, I'm also a musician. I am actively involved in several bands and I produce music in my spare time.

Experience

In 2018, I joined The Hardy Boys, a Durban-based design and advertising agency, where I worked as a junior designer and illustrator. This role provided me with opportunities to contribute to social media and digital campaigns, as well as a variety of other projects encompassing branding, packaging design, and various other forms of print media.

By May 2020, I transitioned into a full-time freelance career, working with a diverse range of clients. Notably, KatKin, a UK-based cat food company, became my primary client. My freelance commissions extend to poster design, album art, and packaging design for vinyl, CD, and cassette tapes.

Education

I studied Art and Graphic Design at DUT (Durban University of Technology) from 2013 to 2017 on a full-time basis. During my time there, I honed my existing skills and acquired new ones. During this time I started to freelance on the side.
