I'm an experienced journalist with a dynamic background in reporting, production and editorial roles across various media platforms. I excel at combining analytical insight, cultural awareness and multilingual communication to deliver impactful results and share compelling narratives. With 20 years of experience, I'm looking for the next challenge for my next chapter in life.

For the past 11 years, I've been working in various roles for Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW), reporting from disparate parts of the world while also performing everyday newsroom tasks from writing to copyediting to supervising trainees. Working across cultures and languages, I've covered some of the most compelling stories of our times, always focusing on the human element behind every headline. Prior to DW, I worked for The South African, the IHA news agency and also as a freelance journalist, with my bylines appearing in The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Trinity Mirror, The Citizen, HBO, ZDF, and RTL among others.
