What makes me tick is making a difference to both individuals and organisations. I blend strategic IT, communications, change management, corporate governance and general management into a mix that is both approachable and practical. 

With extensive participation in executive teams as a member of the Executive Community (reporting to CEO) company boards, risk and order committees, regulatory bodies, and functional management, I have wrestled with the global challenges faced by organisations, especially digital transformation. I have a track record of defining, building and optimising ICT Organisations, with twelve years of C-level executive experience and an in-depth understanding of the business value of IT. Beyond that, I have played a significant role in the digital and e-business arena and created technology strategies for numerous international territories.

As Chief Information Officer at GWK, JD Group and Sasfin Bank, I led strategic alignment of technology to business needs leading the project, infrastructure, data and analytics, governance and risk, call centre (support) and other teams to ensure effective delivery on our promise. Having worked for Sappi (Group e-Business Manager) and Siemens (e-Business and Transformation Manager) previously, I was also able to bring this experience to bear.

GIBS MBA with Thesis in Digital and Leadership

Honours Degree in Communications from RAU (University of Johannesburg)
