I'm 21 years old Caucasian female and love working with animals. I've worked with animals and reptiles for over 8 years and have provided volunteer services to a number of animal centres. 

I am passionate, committed, enjoy learning new things and am a fast learner.

I volunteered at Lory Park Animal and Owl Sanctuary for 6 years.  My responsibilities included:

• Animal welfare, husbandry (covering health and hygiene, housing, diet, enrichment, hand rearing and veterinary care) and enrichments for Reptiles, Big cats, Primates and Owls
• Rehabilitation of Flamingo’s, Owls, Black-footed Kittens, Cheetah, Servals and Caracals
• Facilitated the Ranger Holiday Program for children (5 – 16 years of age)
• Public speaking regarding animals’ habits, welfare and husbandry 

Assisted within a Veterinary Clinic by providing Equine field services, assessments and treatment of medical conditions as well as having assisted with in-house consultations and operations on small dogs and cats.

I also volunteered at the following animal centres over several years assisting with grooming, animal welfare, husbandry and exercise routines:

• Border Collie Rescue Centre
• Puppy and Kitty Haven 
• K-Nine Mobile Grooming and Kennels

I am currently studying Business Administration Support and obtained my First Aid Level 1 qualifications through the Modderfontein Fire Training Centre.

I matriculated in 2020, but have attended various Equine courses over several years.  These were performed at the following facilities:

Taratay Stables – Attended numerous Equine theatrical and practical courses including Anatomy, Physiology, Horse Confirmation Analysis, Husbandry, Behaviour, Habitat, Groundwork, Daily Stable Management and Horse Care Routines.

Having raised and stabled horses on our personal property instilled daily care being carried out from a mental, physical, health and medical perspective.
