Description
We're in need of a driver to handle vehicle operations and move cargo or passengers for our company. As a driver, you should have a clean driving record, adhere to driving laws, and regulations. In this role, you'll follow planned routes or use maps and GPS for navigation. It's also your duty to maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep.
Driver Responsibilities
- Practice safe driving practices
- Adhere to safety regulations and standards
- Accurately follow routes and directions
- Load and unload cargo
- Keep vehicle exterior clean
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks
- Ensure interior cleanliness
- Collect payments and maintain documentation
- Follow schedules and adapt to traffic changes
Driver Requirements
- Demonstrate safe driving
- Ability to follow directions and maps
- Work independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Adapt to changing schedules
- Good time management
- Assist passengers when required
- Organized and customer-focused
- Positive attitude and professionalism
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Code 8 driver's license
- Pass a background check
- Ability to lift and carry objects
- Physically fit for daily requirements
Location:
- Bluff, KwaZulu-Natal: Ability to commute or relocate (mandatory)
