Description
An Electrical Switchgear agent based in Durban is currently seeking an External Sales Representative with a background and experience in the Electrical Field for our Cape Town branch


Responsibilities

  • To actively promote the full product range.
  • Providing market intelligence in support of building new markets and solutions
  • Develop sales plans in accordance with internal processes
  • Provide relevant and accurate information and reporting in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring budget and growth targets are achieved.
  • Cold calling and solution offering
  • Coordinate marketing and customer events to promote brands and products
  • Regular collaboration with product team to understand products and service levels
  • Manage existing key accounts and generate new business
  • Technical experience to discuss and resolve customer queries.
  • Self driven, solution focused approach with strong communication skills
  • The ability to build and maintain business relationships

Experience and skills:


  • 3 years plus mandatory sales experience in the electrical industry
  • Sound knowledge of electrical systems
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills (Time management etc.)

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)


Experience:


  • Sales: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Drivers license (preferred)
