Dealmaker.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum qualification: Relevant commercial or technical honors degree.
- 58 years of related experience, with 23 years in assessing and closing transactions.
- Declared competent in two due diligence disciplines (Marketing, Technical, or Financial).
- Grounded in one of the above due diligence disciplines.
- Experience in interpreting financial statements.
- Sectorspecific knowledge would be advantageous.
Roles and Responsibilities Financial / Shareholder Returns**:
- Evaluate and structure transactions with precision using financing instruments.
- Design and negotiate comprehensive deals, considering financial, EHS, legal, and other critical aspects.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with deals.
- Actively participate in due diligence teams.
- Ensure strategic alignment of deals with unit objectives and industry development goals.
- Manage account functions up to the first drawdown.
- Craft and submit credit proposals.
- Ensure meticulous client data management.
Internal / Operational Processes:
- Optimize deals to meet unit objectives and contribute to industry development.
- Mentor and coach Business Analysts for growth and success.
Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enquirers, applicants, and portfolio clients.
- Collaborate seamlessly with different SBUs and departments to fulfil process requirements.
- Elevate service levels and communication to achieve client service excellence.
- Actively liaise, communicate, and promote the unit externally.
Learning, Leadership & People Growth:
- Drive personal development to enhance competencies.
- Participate in knowledge sharing within the team and crossfunctional areas.
- Mentor and coach Business Analysts, contributing to their growth.
