Description
We are seeking a stores controller who is not just looking for a job but rather a career, for a new venture within the Fabrication & Manufacturing industry.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric preferable a Stores & Warehousing Certificate / Diploma preferable
- Minimum 5 years' warehouse experience
- Computer literate
- Must have a sound knowledge of Electrical / Steel / Plumbing / Piping / Flanges & Air conditioning components and residing in the Atlantis area
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for managing & controlling stock.
- Responsible for Issuing and receiving of stock.
- Conducting accurate stock takes on a monthly basis or as when required.
- Replenish stock when booked out and maintaining stock levels.
- Assist with production output e.g., building, assemble and dismantle units.
- Prepare stock for delivery and for production according to the picking list.
- Check quality and quantity when receiving stock and ensure that the correct number of stock is received in good condition.
- Properly pack unused issued products into the designated bin locations.
- Ensure stock is issued according to job cards.
- Ensure that unused items issued are booked back into stock.
- Responsible for receiving and dispatching of units as and when required.
- Assist with any stores administration functions as required.
- Do housekeeping inside and outside the stores every Friday.
- Maintain the stores as per instruction from the supervisor i.e., painting, fixing furniture etc.
- Assist with other general production support functions as and when required by your supervisor.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and supervisors.
- Wear personal protective equipment as necessary for the job.
- Ensure work is carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with stipulations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSH).
- Adhere to any reasonable and lawful instruction related to work and given by an authorised person.
Salary:
R8, R13,000.00 per month
