A Curious Life

Curiosity killed the cat! But that was a rare and most unfortunate occurrence in the face of what we have come to understand about curiosity. For curiosity drives engagement, connection and learning. From this space flows sensitivity, empathy, and clarity. And of course … Awe. Paralleling these feelings is a neurophysiology resting upon the secretion of oxytocin and dopamine which collectively enhance gratification, spur learning, diminish fear, anxiety and rage and most importantly, suppress chronic inflammation (the precursor of more than 80% of illnesses – including cardiovascular, neuro-degenerative, auto-immune and cancer).
So engage, be curious, add some awe and become awesome. For thereby shall you release the sustaining juices of life which infect all with whom you have engaged to secrete their own oxytocin and dopamine. And so shall we create a gratified and glorious collective of curious secretors and beBees.

Deb \ud83d\udc1d Helfrich Dali installs great awe and a deep curiosity in me. I spent hours at an exhibition of his in Venice a couple of years ago looking at his work and trying to get into his mind. Some people collect stamps. I collect original minds!
