An exp. SENIOR PLANT MAINTENANCE FITTER is req. for perm
employment based in Pietermaritzburg. An emotionally mature and
qualified Supervisory Fitter who is seeking a long-term / stable
career prospect with future growth potential would be the right fit for
this opportunity. To perform related Fitter maintenance tasks within a
Manufacturing Plant environment. Diagnostic tasks and operation related
tasks incl: Testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, fault finding, checking,
measuring, & recording tasks to achieve results. Preventative and
scheduled maintenance to ensure minimum downtime, breakdowns.
Enhancing plant & equipment availability. Mechanical equipment parts
inspections. Plant Supervisory exp (Supervising sub-ordinates incl. Jnr &
Semi Skilled Artisans & Plant Assistants). Available for shift work
(week-end rotations) including standby duties.
NON-NEGOTIABLE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
« Min 7-10 years' exp. within a plant maintenance environment of which
(Required) + Min 4-5 years’ proven Supervisory exp. (Supervising
sub-ordinates) (Required)
« Fitter Trade Tested (Red Seal) + N4 — N6 in Mechanical Engineering +
Sound knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards
+ Driver's licence (reliable transport) + Computer literate
« Traceable references with a clear criminal record
