Yep, many people are caught up in “following orders” and virtue-signaling to bother to do any scientific analysis or even express rudimentary skepticism for any new “miracle” treatment. It's much easier to echo meaningless slogans like “follow the science” and “flatten the curve” than to actually apply the scientific method while also improving health-related circumstances (e.g., through adequate exercise, proper vitamin intake, etc.). I suppose people's addition to messianism (in the form of the all-knowing scientism gurus these days) has caused them to forget that no allopathic remedy is without side effects and that these effects may be more long-term than original thought. Then again, thinking isn't the strongest suit of these people, even if many of them like to view themselves as intellectuals.
