Description

An exciting position has become available for a Financial Controller to join a specialist in the manufacturing sector. This is great opportunity to gain valuable experience in this unique environment.

Responsibilities:

Capture monthly journals
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Reconcile, capture receipts and payments of foreign bank accounts
Statutory returns etc
Control and capture supplier invoices
Monitor creditors payments
Compiled and maintain asset register as well as depreciation schedules
Monitor debtors age analysis and assist where necessary
Cashbook management
General Ledger
Oversee information required by auditor
Oversee staff, ensuring that staff carry out their job functions with accuracy and timeously

Requirements:

Degree or National Diploma in Accounting
Minimum 4 years' experience in financial accounting ina production / manufacturing environment
Exposure to Accpac system advantageous, strong Excel skills essential
