    Description


    Our client a delightful culinary establishment known for its charming ambiance and delectable cuisine based in Franschhoek, is currently looking for an experienced Head Chef who is passionate about food and great service.


    Responsibilities/Duties (not limited to):
    Proven track record as Head Chef
    Good knowledge of techniques, flavor combinations, and plating and presentations, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
    Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate kitchen staff to achieve excellence.
    Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards.
    Good knowledge of food cost and menu planning.
    Have experience cooking for groups.


    Requirements:
    Matric
    Relevant experience/qualification
    Handle pressure and work at a fast pace
    Must be able to handle walk-ins within an hour
    Staff management experience 2+ years minimum
    Experience with events and guests (Hosting weddings, tour group bookings, and walk-in guests) NON-NEGOTIABLE
    The restaurant is daytime service and events and or functions at night
    Own transport is a MUST
    Able to handle all the above at the same time
