The Position

We are looking for an experienced Sales &

Project Manager:
Signalling to strategically lead

the signalling department. The role will be responsible for managing the sales, projects,

marketing, budgeting and product development for signalling products and solutions. The

position will be based in Isando with travel to customers and project sites as needed.

Job Responsibilities

The Sales &

Project Manager:
Signalling's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive sales revenue in line with the sales budget by visiting customers,
preparing presentations and bids, and providing technical support.

  • Manage signalling projects to meet targets for technical specifications, budget
and deadlines.

  • Lead the signalling team to deliver on customer requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, build relationships with
stakeholders, and generate new growth opportunities.

  • Prepare and manage the signalling budget and forecasts.
  • Work with engineering to identify product improvements, bring new products
and systems to market and interface with customers regarding product

approval process.

  • Ensure quality standards, processes and procedures are maintained.
  • Maintain relationship with Railway Systems Group Companies for quotations,
marketing and technical support

Job Requirements

  • A related 3 year electronic engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • Project Management qualification will be an advantage
  • At least 5 years experience in railway signalling systems and products.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of bid preparation, costing and project management.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Solution focused with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
