Description
Duties/Pligte
- Responsible for providing support to the Department as and when required, specifically to the Cluster Residence Services Coordinators and Residence Services Coordinators in the inspections and upkeep of the residences for which they are responsible;
- Providing relief to Residence Service Coordinators during long periods of absence from work and executing the tasks as per the KPA ;
- Maintaining safety standards within residences, houses and hubs;
- Assisting as much as possible with the reporting of maintenance tasks and inspections as requested by the Cluster Residence Services Coordinators and Residence Services Coordinators.
- Verantwoordelik om ondersteuning te bied aan die Departement soos en wanneer versoek, spesifiek aan Kluster Koshuisdienste Koördineerders en Koshuisdienste Koördineerders met inspeksies en onderhouding van koshuise wat onder hul resorteer;
- Aflos van Koshuisdienste-koördineerders gedurende lang afwesigheidsperiodes volgens die KPA;
- Handhawing van veiligheidstandaarde binne koshuise, huise en hubs;
- Assisteer sover moontlik met die aanmelding van instandhoudingstake en inspeksies soos versoek deur die Kluster Koshuisdienste-koördineerder en Koshuisdienste-koördineerder om te verseker dat take dringend afgehandel word.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate);
- Proven appropriate experience gained within comparable environments;
- Proven good interpersonal skills;
- Empathy and a positive attitude towards students, staff and clients;
- Strong communication skills;
- Good computer skills in MS Office (at least in Outlook, Excel and Word);
- Good administration and organisational skills;
- Good conflict management skills;
- The ability to work independently and with self-motivation;
- The ability to work thoroughly and to manage time effectively;
- The ability to act with confidence and authority;
- Professional customer service;
- A valid driver's licence.
- Graad 12 (Senior Sertifikaat);
- Bewese toepaslike ervaring, opgedoen binne vergelykbare omgewings;
- Bewese goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede;
- Meelewendheid en 'n positiewe ingesteldheid teenoor studente, personeel en kliënte;
- Goeie kommunikasievaardighede;
- Goeie rekenaarvaardigheid in die MS Office-pakket (minstens in Outlook, Excel en Word);
- Goeie administratiewe en organisatoriese vaardighede;
- Goeie konflikhanteringsvaardighede;
- Die vermoë om selfstandig en selfgemotiveerd te werk;
- Die vermoë om deeglik te werk en effektiewe tydsbestuur toe te pas;
- Die vermoë om met selfvertroue en outoriteit op te tree;
- Professionele dienslewering aan kliënte;
- 'n Geldige rybewys.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling
- Technical knowledge about building maintenance and cleaning standards;
- Knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Tegniese kennis ten opsigte van die instandhouding van geboue en skoonmaak standaarde;
- Kennis en ervaring in beroepsgesondheid en-veiligheid.
