Description

We're seeking a talented Financial and Systems Analyst to join our team and drive improved systems performance and financial decision-making within our business as we continue to grow and expand.

As a Financial and Systems Analyst, you'll be responsible for using your knowledge of both finance and technology to analyze financial data and optimize our systems for maximum efficiency and accuracy.

You'll work closely with key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that drive business growth.

Duties:

Financial analysis (Management Accounting)

Preparing monthly buying budgets, forecasts and financial statements together with the Financial Accountant
Prepare performance reports and perform data analysis. Analyze and interpret data and identify trends for discussion with the CEO
Evaluate potential risks and opportunities
Maintain pricing/data integrity and take control of the Co's pricing and Gp's
Do cost analysis, product pricing analysis, and promotions analysis, identify areas for cost reduction, and prepare a costbenefit analysis for new projects
Develop dashboards and other visual tools to help stakeholders understand complex financial data

Systems Analysis and Management

Manage relationships with systems service providers and liaise with them on support issues, system changes and enhancements
Oversee the IT systems including the administration of systems integrations, setups, table maintenance, system changes, data security controls and troubleshooting system issues
Participate in systemsrelated projects and coordinate system implementations
Understand business processes and requirements for the company systems and research and propose improvements and automation of processes
Conduct data analysis, data integrity checks, reconciliations & monitoring by using Excel or related tools and identifying areas for improvement
Provide support to users including user access
Oversee and conduct system testing including case testing and analysis

Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree in finance, computer science or information technology or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of proven work experience involving the management of financial data and IT systems
Strong analysis and experience with statistical analysis
Strong financial, accounting and IT skills.
Experience using data analysis and automation tools and systems including the following: Microsoft Excel
Advanced (Power User), SAP.
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills
Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills

Salary:
R60, R65,000.00 per month
