Reporting to the
Fabrication Manager

Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible to produce each manufactured product as per production schedule and product specification.
  • Oversee different processes to ensure product in according to quality standards.
  • Maintain a dependable and dedicated workforce through open communication.
  • Maintain performance measurements (actuals versus targeted estimated) for cost, quality and schedule.
  • Stock Control Plan, order, receiving and issuing of stock.
  • Participate in and drive continuous improvement efforts to improve profitability, delivery times and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing guidance, direction, and leadership to ensure goods are manufactured with the highest level of quality in a safe and timely manner that will meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Mentors and develops direct reports and entire team.
  • Initiating, reviewing and updating work instructions and guidelines.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems through daily Management, problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure a safe working culture.
  • Supervise and oversee the workflow as per the weekly and monthly plan.
  • Ensure that Quality control of manufactured product is done on an ongoing basis.
  • Daily and Weekly reports to Management regarding any inefficiencies
  • Ensuring ongoing stock availability on the system and in the relevant store.
  • Ensure that job cards are issued and processed timeously and done as per schedule.
  • Ensure that units that needs to go to powder coating on a continual basis.

Essential Requirements:


  • Grade 1
  • Minimum of 3 years proven working experience in a Fabrication Supervisory role.
  • Results driven.
  • Lead the Fabrication team and ensure that daily and weekly targets are met.
  • Problem solving.
  • Maintenance of machines.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Excellent Organizational and leadership skills.
  • Effectively Manage Interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Mediation Skills.
  • Outstanding communication skill.
  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards.
