  • Our client based in Germiston is seeking an experienced

Draughtsman to join their team. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software whilst working closely with other professionals to translate concepts and specifications into accurate and comprehensive drawings through ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project requirements and standards.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Interpret and translate engineering and architectural concepts, specifications, and calculations into comprehensive drawings.
  • Create detailed and accurate technical drawings, plans, and designs using CAD software.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, regulations, and standards in the creation of drawings.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively to gather necessary information and resolve designrelated queries.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in CAD software, and emerging draughting techniques.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports related to draughting activities.

Requirements:


  • Matric
  • Qualification in Draughting or relevant is essential.
  • AutoCAD Drawings experience is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a draughtsman in the steel service industry.
