Camps Bay Retreat, our exclusive boutique hotel, seeks an Executive Housekeeper to lead their team.

Minimum Requirements

Matric
Tertiary Hospitality / Accommodation certificate
Minimum 2 years in the same or similar position
OPERA experience (advantageous)

Duties and responsibilities

Manage the Housekeeping department efficiently according to company policies
Manage housekeepers and supervisors
Investigate complaints about services and equipment, taking corrective action
Resolve guest problems and complaints
Monitor staff efficiency and day to day admin and operational functions
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of rooms and public areas
Ensure suitable supplies of cleaning materials available
Lost and found
Maintain of departmental records and reports
Liaise with the dedicated consultants to ensure suitably qualified staff are recruited
Ensure all recruitment is approved on the man plan
Ensure operating assets are in working order and accounted for
Ensure asset list is updated monthly
Project management captured and submitted to Finance for charge out purposes
