Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity for a Strategy Execution Manager.

In this position, you will be accountable for leading, executing and governing the Enterprise Services Growth Strategy within our EAME Distribution Network and become a key member of the Africa Region leadership team.


Responsibilities

  • Provide both Caterpillar and Dealers a single point of contact to manage the portfolio of businesses and relationships between our organizations.
  • Lead the effort of developing and prioritizing dealer and industry strategies in all aspects of the Dealer's business and operations (machines, engines, parts, rental, used, etc.)
  • Improve and develop specific channel capabilities and own and enhance the overall relationship with the dealer network which begins with Strategy Development and Execution.
  • Accountable for leading the Dealer Strategy Process for their respective dealer assignments through advising and consulting senior leaders inside a complex Dealer Organization on the best way of integrating the entire Dealer's Portfolio, enabling strategic vision, and aligning it with Caterpillar.
  • Work as a trusted advisor to ensure a solid relationship exists with the Dealer Principal, Executive Management at the Dealership and Caterpillar's leadership team, primarily led by the District Manager in order address conflicting objectives and priorities.
  • Understand business acumen and the emotional intelligence skills to raise complex, often sensitive, and political issues to the dealer's senior leaders in a constructive environment.
  • Lead and direct various growth services and district team members to incorporate the data produced from other business studies to aggregate and assess common themes to drive the As-Is analysis portion of strategy development.

  • Responsible for working with the VP to identify worldclass strategy management processes to drive understanding & ownership of the Dealer Strategy Process across the enterprise.
  • Ensure execution throughout the organization. This includes keeping the Distribution Divisions and Industry Groups informed of engagement status and ensuring coordination of activities with other Strategy owners.

Qualifications / Requirements:


Proven experience (min 10yrs.) in Project Management (six sigma certified), Strategy & Execution development, Retail business models, Local governance, Digital transformations, PnL management, with successful track record of driving teams especially in B2B industries.

Proficiency in
English required.


Planning:

Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational, tactical and strategic planning in support of the overall business plan.


Visioning:

Understanding of the value of articulating an intended business outcome and ability to create and communicates a vision of the organization that motivates others to superior performance.


Stakeholder Management:

Knowledge of stakeholder management techniques; ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and implement various tasks to engage with them.


Consulting Process & Tools:
Knowledge of consulting process; ability to engage in planning sales, conducting research and analysis, finding solutions, and preparing recommendations.
