Personal Assistant to Board Chairperson - Hatfield, South Africa - Sakhona HR

Purpose of the Job:
To provide comprehensive and highly effective support to the Chairman of the Board. Reporting to the Company Secretary, the PA will have the ability to be both proactive and reactive.
The role will involve extensive inbox and diary management, administrative support, coordinating meetings, booking travel and accommodation, and supporting other Board Members.
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
National Diploma or Degree in Management, Office Management & Technology, or relevant administrative qualification.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 to 8 years of experience as an Executive Assistant to Senior Management or Board
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primarily focused on providing PA support to the Chairman;
- Keeping track of actions and communications;
- Coordinating, minute taking and logging actions for the monthly Board Meeting with appropriate followup;
- Coordinating and booking meetings,
- Keeping the company secretary informed of changes to plans;
- Maintaining uptodate contacts for the Chairman;
- Booking travel and accommodation for chairperson and other members when required
- Managing Chairperson's monthly expenses;
- Signing off on official documents and reports as instructed by the Chairperson.
- Providing adhoc administrative support to the Company Secretary office and other board members;
