Rand Refinery - Project and Construction Foreman**
Area:Germiston, Gauteng


Reporting to:
Maintenance Manager


Job Level:
C- Upper


Job description:


  • The Projects and Construction Foreman is responsible for onboarding of contractors, issuing of Permits to Work PTW, oversee the installation or erection of plant and equipment, exiting of the contractors from site as well as being the solution provider for minor capital projects.
  • The role holder will form an integral part of the Projects team that is required to help with executing the capex plan for the Smelter and Site services in line with the Rand Refinery Stage Gate process.
  • The role holder will be accountable for the safe execution of projects in line with the OHS Act as well as company safety policy and procedures.
  • Completion of the project within schedule and cost.

Requirement:

5 years of experience in a similar role.

N3 or equivalent qualification with a recognised Trade Test certificate in Electro-mechanical, Boiler making or Fitting or Electrical trade.


Salary Range:
R620k to R700k TCTC per annum
